There should be an RSS Links widget in your Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets.

In the Format dropdown, choose Image Link or Text & Image Links. You should get an RSS icon that link to a page that allows your readers to subscribe to your RSS.

Yes, it does display your RSS feed. It shows what your RSS subscribers will see. :) But the RSS Links widget will display an icon that allows your visitors to actually subscribe to your RSS feeds.

What kind of widget are you using for the About.me section? Is it a Text/HTML widget?

Also, where is your twitter icon located? It looks like it's hosted at http://dcbdluf1ahqio.cloudfront.net/twitter/32x32.png

If you can also host an RSS icon somewhere, you can then add this code beside the code that displays your twitter icon:

Is there a simple RSS symbol I can put next to my Twitter symbol or is my site ok the way it is with the RSS feed on the bottom

If you look at my page and see the Twitter symbol, I "thought" I could put an RSS symbol next to it; hence my confusion. Is there a simple way to do that too?

I need to find my Blog Feed Url (RSS)

I initially had a wordpress.com address called http://www.whatsonthelist.wordpress.com

I then bought the domain somewhere else and transferred everything to wordpress.com

I found a link to validate my Url and encountered the following problem. Thank you in advance for your help...OK to write to me like I was five! :)

You are not logged in under the scottreadsit username account. You can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
and if required click the "Need More Help" link and complete the form for account recovery.

In the body of the Widget, use the appropriate shortcode.

For example, if you'd like to use a YouTube video, you would want to copy the URL of the video (pretend we're using this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWfph3iNC-k)

and add this code to the Widget body:

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWfph3iNC-k&w=250]

Note the additional "&w=250" at the end of the URL, that's the width of the sidebar in your theme. Without it, the video may be stretched and not display fully, you'll need to manually add to each video you post in the sidebar. If you change themes, you should check the documentation to see what the sidebar width is, and adjust accordingly.

very new to wordpress and struggling a bit here.

When I set the site up I've somehow set my main url as the place where posts are displayed, and as the homepage (like I want), but then added a page called "home" because I didn't see a homepage listed in the pages when I started. That page has the url domainname.com/sample-page..
How do I merge these two pages/ get rid of one so that I just have a homepage displaying posts, with a url without an extension.
