Blogs aren't owned by organizations, groups or business. They are solely owned by the username accounts that register them and who are the Admin of the blog.

The Admin of the blog can recover the blog. re: lost log-in information he/she/ can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and if required click the "Need More Help" link and complete the form for account recovery.

This means that the new blog will have the same username as your current blog; it was creating a new user account which was requiring you to use a second email address, so, by using the same account you avoid this.

I've got a blog that allows Authors to email in the content via the Postie plugin. I have a couple of authors that have more than one email account that they need to use in various situations. (Home, work etc) How can I give a single user name, more than one email address, so that if they submit content from either email address, they get submitted as the one person. I can allow multiple email accounts in postie, but in the WordPress Authors & Users panel, each user can only have one email account.

So currently I add the person a second time with a different user name. The problem is that when they post under different email accounts, they end up with two 'Author Profiles' (even though they are the same person)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are instructions in the FAQ on how to do this but basically you create a new user name with a new email address and make that user an administrator on the blog.
