It appears you have admin privileges on datelinehouston.wordpress.com, however. Was this the blog in question?

Blogs aren't owned by organizations, groups or business. They are solely owned by the username accounts that register them and who are the Admin of the blog.

The Admin of the blog can recover the blog. re: lost log-in information he/she/ can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and if required click the "Need More Help" link and complete the form for account recovery.

You can logout from My Account > Log Out on the admin bar.

The site has a "Comment as" drop-down box with WordPress as an option, wherein I type my username.
Then I try to post a comment, but it won't post. If I click on Preview, I get a message that says "You don't own that identity."

I just set up my account as a username only today, and your site tells me my account is activated.

What is the problem?

I can allow multiple email accounts in postie, but in the WordPress Authors & Users panel, each user can only have one email account.

So currently I add the person a second time with a different user name. The problem is that when they post under different email accounts, they end up with two 'Author Profiles' (even though they are the same person)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
