Not a chart. Really old-skool. I Select All, Copy, Paste into a text file. Then I spend a minute or so deleting the unrelated code like headers etc. You can't dump it straight into a spreadsheet unless you copy it bit by bit and paste into each cell. I suppose you could create a template with ten cells per section, eg Referrers, which would save some time.

I am currently tracking visits to our WEBSITE using Google Analytics. However, since we are hosting our blog on wordpress.COM we are not able to track blog visits using the same tool.

I am hoping to grab data using the "stats" tool wordpress.COM provides and then compare that to the Google Analytics data.

Is there a way to download or export the stats to a spreadsheet? Or is there any other way to grab this data in order to compare it?

Thanks.

I have days when I receive emails showing that people either liked my blog or began following my blog. Yet my stats will show no visitors that day (or the day before or the day after) when people either liked or began following my blog. This doesn't make any sense to me and I think my stats are not showing some visitors or visits. In fact when I visit my blog from several different computers no visits or visitors show up in the stats. Can anyone explain this to me - and do the stats sometimes not work?

I watch my viewing and visiting figures, like everyone else I suppose. I counted up my visits per day for February and found they were understated on the bar chart by over 50%. Not to worry. I have no wish to become obsessive or pedantic about it, but I looked at my views and visits figure for today to find that I've had 64 views so far, but only 11 visits. Funnily enough, when I started this rant the figures were 63 and 6 !. Are these figures estimates or meant to be accurate I wonder. about 10 views per visit. That just sounds so unlikely

When someone "likes" my blog (VBI, dianevacca.com) or clicks on a link, the stats don't reflect that visit. Is a "visit" generated only by a clink on the permalink for a particular post? If something is clicked on the post, e.g., an embedded video, an outgoing link, a "like" or a comment, why aren't those enough to count the post visited or viewed? Is that something you can do or are working on? Because it's obviously a serious fault in the view/visit calculations.

This is not a WordPress.com issue as far as I can tell. This may be informative > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2013/02/01/google-image-search-redesign-raises-ire/
Google changed image search.
They ran their Panda and Penguin algorithms and apprehended everyone who had duplicate content be it images or text and they also did a page rank update.
The positioning in the SERPs (search engine page results) changed.
Some benefited and some did not.
All search engine issues are between the bloggers and the search engines. http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/

Hey guys, I had regularly been getting 1,500-2,000 hits a day for a few months, and then about two weeks ago, the hits suddenly dropped down to no more than 500. Is there a way to find out if my website is somehow being blocked? Or if it has possibly been included in any sort of filter that might prevent people from trying to access it? Just surprised about such a distinct drop off and such regular low numbers after getting at least 1,500 consistently. Thanks!
