More galling still is when someone is hired to set up a free hosted blog which we Volunteers can do in not time flat and then spends days here posting threads and pumping us Volunteers for answers to questions that are already in the tutorial and support documentation and gets paid for doing that. But it happens.

You cannot build or use your own custom theme built from scratch at WordPress.com.

I've been thinking of starting a company that is going to make websites for other companies. The main key for the whole concept is that needs to be an easy-to-manage website and the WordPress-platform can't be more perfect for that.
But in the middle of these thoughts I realised that I need to make sure that I can start this company and use WordPress to build the websites and make money out of it, legally.

Technically, I wouldn't charge the customers for the WordPress-platform itself, which I understand would be illegal since it's not my product. It would be for the favor to build the website for them.

So therefore I need to find out if I can legally base my business on using the WordPress-platform. Hope someone can help me!

If you want an .ie domain you need to purchase it outside WordPress.COM. Then you map it to your blog here with these instructions:

You will also need a zone record added for an .ie domain name BEFORE - you do the domain mapping you should be able to add the zone record here:

PS - it can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to reach the far corners of the internet and your site will be a bit unstable in that time and you will be the last one to see the changes.

Between the ads that I didn't realize where going to happen and was this was a very big negative for my new site...and didn't look very professional...and now this.
1) I have words that are randomly selected in my content that are underlined in blue (not by me) and they are a link that go out to other websites and some that are really not appropriate at all for a business site. Please explain why this is happening and how I can fix it. They also are not the same words all the time.

I'm sorry for your experience. Without a screen-grab, I'm not 100% sure but I believe this is a video advertisement. Are you aware that WordPress.com runs advertisements? Are you also aware that there is a no-ads upgrade? Also, you indicate that the video is inappropriate. Is it inappropriate because you didn't expect it there or was there something about the content that is inappropriate?
