Hey,

I am using the Editorial theme by Woothemes. The default font for the theme is League Gothic, and the .otf file is included in the wp-content folder.

When in the WP Dashboard, under the Editorial theme tab, under general settings, I want to change the Site Title Font. I select the Text Title option and it presents me with a drop down menu of fonts that I can use. However, League Gothic, the default font on the site isn't displayed and I can't find it anywhere.

I have the .OTF file. What folder do I have to put it in to have it display in this drop down menu? Any thoughts? very frustrating...

Thanks in advance.

Hi there!

I'd like to suggest Mystile, a free theme by WooThemes as a new theme for the WordPress.com repository. Mystile was originally designed as WooCommerce theme but can easily be used without the WooCommerce features (for example, the shop page and products on the landing page).

The reason I'd like to get Mystile on WordPress.com is because the blog is gorgeous, as you can see on the demo: http://demo2.woothemes.com/?name=mystile

The theme also offers a number of colour options which is fantastic. It's always a pleasure to have a bit of customisation in a theme.

The standard fonts (header, body text etc.) are really attractive. They're clear and easily readable and the layout of the blog is so easy on the eye.

The featured post images are a good size-a plus for an image-rich blog.

The calendar-style date stamp is fun.

Most of all, the first time I saw the Mystile blog page I was hooked. Even more so when I clicked on the "more styles" tab and tried it in the blue and the green. I knew immediately that I wanted to use it on a blog and that it would be a magnificent addition to the WP.com theme collection. It's so beautiful.

WooThemes has contributed numerous themes, free and premium, to WP.com, so hopefully they'd be open to making this one available too.

More info on Mystile here: http://www.woothemes.com/products/mystile/

Regards,

Jo

This is because you've put the sidebar outside of the overall wrapper that goes around all the elements of the page. Look in #sidebar and you will see a margin-left of -316px.

When you do things in the way you have, these are the kinds of issues you run into.

This is a total "hack" but it fixes it.

#wrapper {
margin-left: 350px;
}

After making a few tweaks to the CSS, my page is pretty much exactly how I want it - except for the whole resizing thing.

I have my sidebar set to float:left and main part of the page floating to the right, but when I when the window's at less than full screen, the sidebar gets completely hidden - you can't scroll over to it, it just gets stuck off page until the window's big enough.

I was wondering if there was any way I'd be able to set it up so it sticks in place and doesn't go off-screen with smaller windows?

(My URL is macinphormer.com)
Here's the code:

#sidebar {
position:absolute;
width:230px;
padding:10px;
background:#FFFFFF;
clip:auto;
float:left;
margin-left:-316px;
margin-top:-241px;
}

#main {
width:600px;
float:right;
margin-right:100px;
padding:0;
}

Just one more question - is there any way to allow scrolling when windows aren't at full screen? The sidebar gets hidden when the window is resized too small.

Thanks again
