I'm looking for a wordpress template that mimics the functionality and look of this website: http://kimmcbeanyoga.com/ -- Mainly the single image box, with the image on the left side and the ability to scroll the right side of the box up and down. Does anyone know of a wordpress theme that has this functionality or look?

I've searched pretty thoroughly but found nothing and the website example I'm using is not a wordpress site template.

For me, choosing a premium theme is about finding something that fits my personality. But since I would be paying for it I wanted to make sure I was making a good decision when I have to chose one other another.

I think timethief offered very good advice and you mentioned that you are also trying to maintain good SEO habits, which - in my opinion - is the most important part.

WordPress itself does a lot for SEO already: a rel=”canonical” link, rel=”prev” / rel=”next” links, an XML sitemap (this is yours), automatically sending notifications to Google with every post and page update, and much more - which really helps along with indexing your site and making it searchable.
Additionally - as timechief mentioned - the vast majority of (free) Themes on WordPress.com are also SEO optimized: microformat support, formatted titles, post/archive navigation, site structure, post title as the first anchor text, some even show a taxonomy description or have a breadcrumb.

So my number one advice on top of that would have been: Write regularly high quality content. But you already do that! :)

So here are two more things that might help you along:

• Use Google's Webmaster Tools to learn more about how Google sees you site and how you can help to make it even more Google-friendly.
• Claim authorship for your posts and let them stand out in the search results (may take a while for Google to adapt).

If you are using a WordPress.com theme good SEO is a given. However, going beyond the theme what the blogger has done within that structure is worth evaluating. Changing the domain name is literally only that: changing the domain name. It doesn't exempt you from any of the other restrictions here.

I created a blog with wordpress and the url is focusbuildingsolutions.wordpress.com .

I thought that if I add the existing domain name of the company in wordpress (www.focusbuildingsolutions.co.uk) I would be able to set it as primary and then customise it in wordpress. Is it achievable?

I am trying to apply a wordpress theme on my existing domain but am unable to do it. I followed the instructions last week on adding a domain to blog and did the DNS. Now I have no idea how I can apply a wordpress theme to this domain. It only gives me the option on choosing the primary domain. When I choose my existing domain name as primary it only takes me to the webpage of the domain. Can someone please guide me on how to apply wordpress themes on existing domains. thank you so much

On free hosted wordpress.COM blogs we can only use the themes which have been coded to run on this multi-user software and made available to us here. > Appearance > Themes and no others. If you wish to have complete control over a blog, the ability to upload themes and plugins, and to edit themes and templates then your option is to hire a web host and get a free software install from WordPress.ORG and self host it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

On the WordPress.ORG support forums they deal only with WordPress.ORG issues.
