If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com please do these four things:

1. Try clearing your browser’s cache: http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/

3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

If it’s still happening, let us know exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/ and also post any error reports you get.

I was looking for post that I liked a while ago on a blog I follow. When I go to my reader I can only see 10 posts I liked. How can I see older posts I liked?

It looks like your blog is on wordpress.org, and there is a big difference between wordpress.com and org.

I activated and edited the theme 'Landscape' by Blankthemes, since then whenever I activate a new theme and then 'visit site' it always remains as the previous 'Landscape' theme.

Also, new posts, pages, etc do not appear on the 'Landscape' theme. It as though it is frozen. As of right now, in my 'manage theme's' it shows that my current theme is 'RYU' but when I click on view theme it always goes back to the 'Landscape' theme.

I have tried all troubleshooting options. Please help!!

I recently changed my them from Bueno to Grisaille . Wordads have not been appearing for the past two weeks now. Has anyone some ideas? Or are you experiencing any difficulties with WordAds? Staff, can you help a fellow blogger?

What's going on in your case depends on what we can track down based on information you provide.
(1) how you are connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com. The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers. Also note that the main dashboard isn’t designed to work with touch devices through the tablet and smartphone browsers.

(2) Are you logging in using the secure https:// log-in see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

(3) exactly which browser and version of it are you using. If you don’t know click here to find out > http://whatsmyuseragent.com/

In the past near two weeks, my blog has only recorded a total of 5 views, though the number of likes from individual persons on posts alone far outstrips that. Obviously, there is something wrong with the counter, and I wish to rectify this.

Any suggestions?

You've probably set a featured image that isn't wide enough. See here:

As you can see from my blog - have managed to sticky my first post onto the homepage. However - I've written a second post and want to do the same thing and sticky it, but even though I've checked the box that you need to in order to 'stick' it, and applied a featured image, with an excerpt and everything (exactly the same as the first time), it won't appear on the homepage.

Have tried everything to try get it to come up, including unsticking both posts and retrying, logging off and logging in, accessing the site whilst logged off, comparing the settings of both posts, and still - the only post that will stick to the homepage is the first one. Thinking it might matter if the posts were under different categories, I changed them so they were both under the same category, but again - nothing.

Had it working earlier in the day and now it's just stuck...and even though it says my second post is 'sticky' - it appears no where.

Please help!! Been spending hours on this, trying to get it all up and running.

The notifications button on my stat page stopped working this afternoon. It shows new notifications, but isn't clickable. The button is functional on all other pages.

I'm using updated Firefox with no add-ons.

The whole bottom line of buttons for the visual editor has disappeared. I've dumped cache and cookies, disabled add-ons and tried three different browsers (Safari, Chrome and Firefox) and they all look the same. The html is there but the buttons for Headings, paragraphs, plain text formatting, etc. just don't show up. This is the same blog, same setup, same computer I've been using for more than a year with Mac OS 10.6.8 and I'm connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi but I'm not having connection issues.

I tried all the steps you recommended however, it still does not seem to be working... My user agent is: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/5.0) and I am connected to the internet via Wi-Fi. I apologize in advance for not being the most technologically inclined person out there!

I have flagged this thread for Staff attention. Please be preared to go through the follow troubleshooting drill and provide the information derived from it to Statf.

These are the troubleshooting steps we take whenever any issues like this arise:

updating the browser to the latest stable version (not a buggy BETA browser version) http://browsehappy.com/

confirming JavaScript is enabled http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654
confirming Flash is updated http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and if required installing the latest version of Flash http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
resetting your router and modem and rebooting your computer
then logging in using the secure https:// log-in see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
trying another browser

I am having the same problem. None of the tabs on WordPress.com Home Page will load (they all appear completely blank though the URL changes accordingly) and I don't know what to do about it!

Hi,

For about a month now certain features of the website are not working for me. For example, when I go to the WordPress.com home page none of the tabs will load (New Post, Reader, Freshly Pressed, Topics, My Blogs, My Stats). I also can no longer respond to comments or follow users via the notification tab on the top right hand corner of the screen. I am using Windows Explorer 9 and have deleted my Cookies and Search History which was recommended in an old forum post. If you have any ideas as to what might be wrong please let me know!

You won't get traffic for about 2/3 weeks and only after you do a few posts, comment on other blogs, get into a few blogrolls that's a start.

Same deal for me. I have two sites with WP Stats. When I updated to WordPress 3.3.1, my stats did not work very well on one site and it was okay on the other. I have tried backing out to 3.2.1, added the Jetpack, and still nothing. I normally had about 100 unique hits/day, and now I get 0 or 2. My hosting account still shows the hits like before, but not the stats. Even worse, my Amazon and Ad Sense affiliate accounts are not tracking.
