If you only want a few pages, which you won't be updating often, so your blog looks more like a website, and you are not concerned about SEO, then you might look into pagination and child pages:

if you go to the blog and click the building/dwelling page, is there a way i can add another project on that same page and have it follow or before the one that is there now?
