Sounds like you've thought it all through then! And yes, self-esteem and confidence are definitely a necessity when you're dating (or doing anything, for that matter). I was just wondering if you thought about your material for the long run. A lot of people sometimes start a blog with a very specific theme or focus and then find that they run out of material quickly, so as long as you're confident then that's all that matters. Good luck!

Hi there plasticdaffodils.

I'll be including my own experiences as and when I go along and as they pop up and are relevant to the posts I put up.

I did ask myself who would want dating advice from an old married bird, and you're right, I haven't dated in about five years but I was single for what felt like an eternity before Mr Keen fell into my lap so to speak (via Match.com) and dated the good bad, ugly and downright rotton in that time.

But I'm also a coach, who has been there done that and I mainly coach women in self esteem and confidence and finding Mr Right for Them. For that I don't feel I need to be single and footloose myself.

Does that make any sense at all????

I think you're off to a good start, but I think your posts might be more interesting if you include more personal stories about your dating experience. That's what people usually look for with blogs - the human experience and how they can relate.

I have to ask you though, how long has it been since you've dated? Do you feel like you have enough dating experience and can remain up-to-date with current dating trends if you are no longer dating yourself? Do you have enough material through the experience you've gained to maintain a blog indefinitely?
