I want to transfer my wordpress.com blog to a self hosted one.

Problem is this, my current wordpress.com blog is hosted on a custom domain that i own "blog.vodeclic.com" and that i didn't bought on wordpress. I then mapped it with your paid extension.

Now i want to move to a self hosted blog AND i want to keep my URL "blog.vodeclic.com".
So in order to do that i've to change my DNS setting at my registrar to point my domain to my new IP, that i can do easily, but it will to take up to 48 hours to propagate. In the mean time how do i tell wordpress.com to redirect to my new self hosted blog since it's the same URL... it seams very tricky.
