In that theme you create a page using this guide, place the pages widget in your sidebar and it will display links to your pages adter you publish them.

Have you considered chnaging to theme that does have a horizontal menu bar? Click my username to see an example ot what I mean by noting the blck horizontal menu bar under the header image.
