I've worked with WordPress before as at work I had to create a WordPress based site to use as an intranet but now I am creating a blog for myself. However, my own site seems to be lacking functions as the one that I worked on previously. There is no option in my dashboard to install plugins and there is no access point into the .php files such as the header, footer, ect for me to customize my page.
I did buy my own domain, it is not a free site.wordpress.org and I have purchased the value bundle.
