A Contributor is not an Author. Author bylines are not coded into every theme here. The themes that do have them will not display an Author blyline unless there are 2 Authors (not Contributors) who have published 1 posts on the blog. Also note that there are some themes that do display an Author Profile and the data for that is derived from the "About You" section found on this page Users > My Profile

Right now, he only has as username listed, but I need to add his full name so it appears when he writes an entry. I tried logging in as him but it wouldn't allow me access to the dashboard.
