With my great appreciation, but the Facebook badge doesn't match my need as described above.

What's "profile URLs" ?

What I want is to embed a Facebook like button on the widget area, and let it show "who, who and x,xxx others like this."

The Facebook like box widget we have here at WordPress.com will only accept Facebook page URLs. It will not accept profile URLs.
