you need to go to your profile and uncheck the box that activates the Visual Editor

raincoaster, thank you. I looked around for the Code editor but I either couldn't find it or wasn't sure if it was the right place.

Where do I look for it to add the "Add This bookmark" blog button.

Plus, where do I find the place where post is.

You don't put it in the sidebar. You have to use the Code editor, not the visual editor, and you paste it anywhere in your post, although I'd suggest the bottom of the post.

WordPress.com blogs do not allow us to change the theme files themselves.

I copied "Add This bookmark" blog buttom from Add This.com and tried to paste in it my WordPress Presentation theme but couldn't find anywhere to paste it in nor in the widget sidebar arrangement.
