Just to follow up: That process left a LOT to be desired, and the results are kind of strange to say the least! Also, the "drag into position" ability has reminded me of my hatred for the way you reposition widgets in the side bar. Has it not occurred to anyone that clicking on a movable object and then using the cursor keys to move them would be a much better way to do this?

Thanks again.

Thanks Panos! I'd read that before, but it didn't quite make sense. I guess I missed the part about dragging left and right. Although a checkbox to automatically include sub-pages and sub-categories would be nice!

Every performer/group whose music I've included on my blog are listed as sub-categories of the "performers" category. Is there a way to use the custom menus feature to add a drop-down "music on this blog" menu to my theme's existing menu bar? The drop-down would, of course, allow for selecting archive pages for each performer/group sub-category. I'm using the Twenty Ten theme. Thanks in advance.
