E-commerce isn’t currently possible here at WordPress.com as our free hosted blogs cannot be equipped for ecommerce transactions at this time. If you require e-commerce/shopping cart functionality, there are no restrictions on e-commerce if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a free hosted WordPress.com blog. See here to learn the differences: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Here is a guide for the PayPal donation button.

Alderego, I'm still not seeing the 'Email' tab - except under "Merchant Account ID," which is for people not contacting you, rather than the email info you need to post the button to your WordPress page.

I've never heard of anyone succesfully using the Buy It Now button on WordPress.com. We only have the donate button that works here. If that's not the case, I'd appreciate learning how.

I had the same problem as you. I discovered that when I used a drop down menu of options for payment the 'Email' tab, with corresponding code, disappeared.

I'm having the same issue - a little help from WordPress.com would be much appreciated.

Under Step 6, "You will see two (2) sets of code: html code Website and a link for Email..." I only see html code - no link for Email.

Perhaps PayPal changed their options?
