E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.com

The problem is, when I try to add the widgit, instead of it displaying as an Amazon Search Box on my website, it simply just says the words "Amazon.com Widgit," which is not what I want. I have been using the "text" widgit because I didn't know which widgit from WordPress to use. Can someone tell me which widgit would make the Amazon Search Box display on my site properly? Or can someone tell me if WordPress.com just doesn't allow their bloggers to use advertisements? I'm not sure if this helps, but I do own my own domain. I am starting to get very frustrated with this, so I would appreciate all the help I can get.
