YouTube videos can't be uploaded via the Add Media tool, they are embedded by copying and pasting the address of the video on its own line, following the instructions here:

Also quite a few times I've tried to upload an image and it kind of 'gets stuck'. The only way out of this seems to be to close the media screen and refresh or save your post, then try again. I don't know whether this because images are too big for for another reason. Any help would be appreciated!

In the meantime I'm using my iPad to blog...

When I try to add pictures to my blog post the pictures all jump to the top of the page shoving whatever I wrote already beneath them.

This appears to be a problem specific to Firefox 16. If you can, upgrading to Firefox 17 seems to solve the problem. Our developers will have a look at this.

When you say pictures are disappearing, could you please describe in more detail what you mean exactly? Could you provide a link to a post or two where photos have disappeared so I can investigate?

In terms of the "shaking" - what browser and version does this happen in? Could you try a different browser and let me know if it happens there?

I add images from an outside URL. When I attempt to add photos within the body of the text, they all jump to the top. The only way to resolve the issue is to copy the image, paste it where I want it, and then cut the original.

I'm running updated Firefox with no add-ons, and have done the cookie/cache/restart business. Thanks!
