There is a CSS solution that works with most themes (using absolute positioning of a text widget), but with Modularity Lite due to the way the markup (XHTML) is structured, it won't work cleanly (no overall container). The SM icons could be put right above the grey image block, below the navigation cleanly, but not up above the navigation.

As it says, you can add social media onto your sidebar by using the widgets, so why not try that instead? :)

I would like to add social media icons (Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn/Pinterest) to my header, how would I go about doing so? Extremely novice and only proficient with the basic menu/dashboard, anything helps. My site is http://luisagostini.com
