Note : copy the link url of the larger image either by finding it in the insert image box, or in the media library.
Insert the thumbnail into your post, then where it says "Link Url" insert the link to the larger image.
insert into post
If you want it to open in a new page, then go to Advanced Settings and click the box to make it do so.

I need lightbox functionality of something similar in my blog. I've seen the recommendations for Thickbox and I've also seen the problems people have described with Thickbox. I would swear that a few months ago I saw a solution that just opened the larger image in a separate web page. Not too elegant but maybe less problem prone. Anyone, I've been searching for information on how to do that and I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone help?
