1. I'm hoping to reboot my blog to do more posts per week, but I don't want to annoy my 100 subscribers, who are used to me posting once a week or less. Is there any way NOT to e-mail a post to subscribers?

2. WordPress automatically e-mails the whole blog post to my subscribers. Is there a way to send, say, the first paragraph or two with a link to the full post? I'd like to drive people to the website...
