But is there anyway to get the posts I moved over from Blogger to not show up on my main page? I want to keep them, but most of the most recent ones are more than six months old.

In WordPress, the archives are created automatically, there is not a way to designate them manually. You can access them at links such as http://theartofbeingkatie.com/2011/

Another thing you could do would be to create a unique category for the older posts and apply them with the bulk editor:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/#bulk-edit

Then you could link to the category page to see all of those posts.

Also see http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/#video

I just moved my blog from blogger to wordpress; the address is theartofbeingkatie.com. I'd love to create a separate page with my old blogger archives and start fresh here at wordpress, but I can't figure out how. Also, I'm pretty sure I have a wordpress.com not a .org account so I can't do any fancy coding or uploading things from an outside server. Help...please...Thanks you.
