I just updated to the Ascetica theme to fix this issue. Please try setting your header image again, and let us know if there are any more problems.

I put the theme up on my test blog and I confirm what you have said. The header images uploaded do not display. I have flagged this thread so it will be moved to the Theme Forum where Themes Staff can fix this.

I have tried repeatedly, with different images--and none of the will work. I have used the recommended pixel dimensions.
