			<description><![CDATA[<p>Akismet deletes older spam comments automatically except if you go to Settings &#62; Discussion and enable the option "Don’t discard spam on old posts". If you do that and start checking the comments Akismet catches, keep in mind that Akismet is 99.99% right.

			<description><![CDATA[<p>The Askimet stats page says it's detected 10 spam comments in the last month but nothing has ever appeared in my spam queue.</p>
<p>Is there a way to either check it's not deleting legit comments or just disable it entirely and manually approve comments before they appear?
