I create a post, and backdate the scheduled publish date. The permalink reflects the scheduled backdate (using the /year/month/postname structure). I publish the link. When I enter the permalink into the browser, I get a page not found error. When I click on post links on the blog's front page, I get the same error.

Found out that multi-site has some weird thing set up with appending /blog/ to permalinks. Deleting that resulted in same errors. Changing /blog/ to /post/ also resulted in same errors.

I want posts to have a /year/month/postname structure. I'll settle for a /post/year/month/postname structure. Do I have to reinstall WordPress?
