I think it is clean and easy to read and that is what I am aiming for. The only reason I have a sidebar on the second one is for my own use. I doubt other people pay much attention to them.

Interesting blog. If you are looking at a filipino audience fine as is, if you are looking internationally you may want to add a bit of background about the local political situation for strangers who know nothing.
