Black Soap or African Black Soap also known as Anago Soap or Alata soap, originates from West Africa. It has been used for centuries in countries like Ghana and Nigeria and is still made to the same recipe and process

There are many types of black soap, dependant on the region it comes from. African Black Soap is completely natural and environmentally friendly; made from Plantain skins, raw Palm oil/ Palm kernel oil, Shea, Coconut butter and water - NO HARMFUL CHEMICALS! BEWARE! There are soaps that are claimed to be black soap but are mass produced chemical soaps. There is also a Mediterranean black soap, that is made using Lava sand. This is a pummel soap.

I have always had acne prone skin with dark spots and was forced to conceal it with make up. This soap has changed all of that for me within 2weeks of using it! I really never get my hopes out because believe it or not I have probably tried every soap or acne product out there. And lately I've been on this all natural ingredients kick and stumbled across this soap in whole foods for 2.99. Worth every cent! Please please try it.! I highly reccomend it. Even if you dont have sensitive skin. You will love what it does for you.
