When it is resized down to 16x16 for use as the site favicon, the resize algorithm makes it look very bad. I have my own 16x16 image that looks much better. How can I use this as the favicon? It's widely recognized that you generally cannot resize a large image to something so small and have it still look right. You usually need to make a custom small image.
