I just tried to subscribe and ended up with the same result as you did.

In October they switched to their own URL of http://readysetsimplify.com/

I have tried several times to update the URL in my following section, but even when I type in the http://readysetsimplify.com/ address, clicking on that link brings me to the http://readysetsimplify.wordpress.com/ address.

When http://readysetsimplify.wordpress.com/ is a blog I'm following, it will not let me add http://readysetsimplify.com/ as a second blog to follow- it says i am already following the blog. ARG!!
