We own africaniptrust.org, and want our WordPress blog to use that address. Last week (Monday) I mapped the NS servers to WordPress (ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com, ns3.wordpress.com) on our domain provider account.

I waited 48 hours, and on Wednesday (five days ago), I paid for the custom domain on WordPress and added africaniptrust.org on the WordPress dashboard, under Settings --> Domains.

Africaniptrust.org has been marked as the primary domain in WordPress since Wednesday.

Now, five days later, redirection from the old (africaniptrust.wordpress.com) to the new (africaniptrust.org) URL is intermittent. It works about 25% of the time. Most of the time, if I type africaniptrust.wordpress.com in the address bar, it does NOT redirect, but instead takes me to a login page where I am told "http://africaniptrust.wordpress.com/ is marked private by its owner."

I have double-checked that the blog is NOT marked as private, on Settings --> Privacy. I have also tried going to the old address with different browsers, and after completely clearing out the cache/history in the browsers.

How can we get this fixed? We have a major conference coming up, some people have the old address, and the security wall is embarrassing.
