I guess I'll have to purchase the theme to see if it works as I want to, knowing I can get a refund within 30 days.

tt-the OP has not yet purchased the theme.

@espacejp-In general, the ability to embed videos is not theme specific. And, yes, videos must be clicked on to start them, they are not autoplay.

Your theme is a premium theme and we Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no hands on knowledge of how they are designed to operate. When you purchased your premium theme what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer in the Premium Theme Support Forum. There is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard, but do note that the premium theme must be active and you must be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it.

I did look at the theme page and I did take a look at the demo site but they don't mention or show a video anywhere...

Did you have a look at the Bold News Theme page and demo site?

You should also be able to find a a showcased site there. Alternatively, search Google for "Blog at WordPress.com. Theme: Bold News by WooThemes."

I am looking to purchase BOLD NEWS from woothemes via wordpress.com and am wondering if the home page displays a video when you insert it in a post or do we have to click on the post to view the video?

Also, do you of any sites that run on BOLD NEWS that I can look at before purchasing it ?
