You can go into the account and change the email address to a throw-away freebee from somewhere like gmail or yahoo or live.com and remove any identifying data and then put in a very strong 16 digit password and then just walk away.

I would recommend keeping all that though just in case you would want to reuse it sometime in the future. We have a lot of people swear they will not and then come back a few months later (not having kept the information) and want to know how to get back into the account.
