At least now I now I cannot get a chatbox with google. I already did register with meebo and got a username and all that. I installed the html code in the widget, followed all the directions, etc...but it doesn't work. The chatbox shows up in my sidebar, but nobody is able to chat in it. I'm going to re-install the meebo widget right now and see if it works. See for yourself: try typing something in it.

If you want a chatbox register a meebo username account use the meeb chat widget.

That's not the problem. If you visit http://www.burstingplethoraofrainbowcolors.wordpress.com you will see a "Let's chat" widget in my sidebar (all the way at the bottom), but I want a chatbox. Are you saying that with the same instructions I can get a chat box? If so, I don't see that in the instructions. Maybe I'm missing something?

I figured out how to install the chat, but it only shows up as a single link, not as a chat box. What I want is: a chat box in my sidebar, where visitors to my site would be able to chat directly from my site with me or with each other. Is it possibel to do that with google chat? If so, how? Also, I had already tried the meebo chatbox widget. I installed it and all. But the thing doesn't work. It always says that I am offline, when clearly I am online. And I tested it out by having a friend try to chat with me on there via her computer. No luck.
