To delete a blog takes bypassing 3 warnings that blog deletion is irreversible and clicking a confirmation link in an email for good reason ie. deleted blog URLs are not recycled.

You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

Now I am trying to start a new blog with the web address karinakonz.wordpress.com but it keeps telling me that this name is already taken. When I click on http://karinakonz.wordpress.com it says that it is no longer available. Please help me create a blog with this web address. Thank you!
