Someone just signed up for a WP account but when I tried to add her in as an author her username never appeared in the user list.

I then tested it by deleting my personal account (craftbq) from the list of users and trying to add it back in again and that's not showing up either.

I've been able to do this before with no problems, and I didn't change any of the options since. Any ideas about what I can do to fix it?
