See here for accepted file types http://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/

The following processes are outlined particularly for users who wish to upload a document and add its download link to a blog post or page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/uploading-documents/

However, if you want to embed the document itself into a post, then you will have to use a third party application like Scribd or Google Docs.
See here:

http://somehelpfulinfo.wordpress.com/ exists, but you deleted the placeholder post, so you need to make a new post. Go through this tutorial: http://learn.wordpress.com

And you can't import themes to a WordPress.com blog. Those are for WordPress.ORG blogs only.

2 it's okay, but it's not possible to make "folders" here.

can't find my half-finished start-up. i attempted to import a design (manifest), and the screen says my blog doesn't exist. probably 'cos i couldn't finish signing up for it.
somehelpfulinfo.wordpress.com and the title is stuff i learned the hard way. i got confirmation that these titles were mine. how do i get back to fill out things like log-in info etc.?

2nd question: I want to be able to put blocks of information in separate "folders" and allow readers to copy it. is this okay?
