Loads fine for me - but I am in the U.S.

Have you tried clearing your cache for your computer, browser and router?

Hi, yeah - now its working again here as well.

PING alex-klim.com (76.74.254.123): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 76.74.254.123: icmp_seq=0 ttl=51 time=301.286 ms

Thing is that it goes on and off on a temporary basis and I want to ensure that there is no problem from the DNS side.

Once its down again here, we would need to check from outside as well at the same time..

Thing is that I already got a lot of comments on my FB page which links to this blog page, where (local) people mention they cannot access the site.

I think the 72 hours is over by now. If it continues now, what could we do to narrow down the issue?

alex-klim.com seems to be fine, there's no issue on this end.

We have no known problem with Qatar, however (like with China), we have no control if a country chooses to block us or restrict traffic to us.

Do you have any friends outside of the country who could confirm this for you?

Hi guys, the site is again not reachable, this time now for more than 15min already, what can I do? Maybe the Provider made some mistakes? It is almost 72 hours now... THing is that it is up and down again, seems when it uses a certain IP it is not reachable. Can it be that this IP is blocked in my country? (QATAR)

Will wait for sure the 72 hours and hope all works out well... It's just very annoying if you run a blog and people tell you the site is not available...

Do what ever you want - however as noted above it can take up to 72 hours for proper propagation to the far corners of the internet - also because of caching issues you will be the last one to see the changes

It has not been 72 hours since you first domain mapped

PS - WordPress.COM does not use static IP addresses

Hi, so I still got this troubles and it's really annoying..

I found out the following: When I ping alex-klim.com it gives me different IP addresses, why is that? Example: Just pinged and got the following:
>>
PING alex-klim.com (74.200.243.251): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 74.200.243.251: icmp_seq=0 ttl=50 time=208.327 ms

2min later it gave me this:

PING alex-klim.com (72.233.69.6): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 72.233.69.6: icmp_seq=0 ttl=49 time=228.432 ms

So two different IP addresses, first resolves to wordpress.com - while the second resolves to itdomains.com

Another 2min later, it was unavailable again...

Really think of getting back my USD 99.- and use the free package with my own server, if this troubles continue...

Thanks for your fast response, yes its currently working fine, "Cant find server" outages take normally no longer than 2-3 minutes - but happen many times during the day. Anyway, will watch and wait till the 72hours are over, just registered 2 days ago, maybe thats the cause.

Will let you know if I encounter further issues.

When a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, you may also receive a warning message in your browser about "redirect errors". Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your internet service provider updates their records. Please rest assured that everything is proceeding normally with your domain.

Hi guys, I registered my new blog domain alex-klim.com through WordPress.com and mapped it to my blog.

My issue is, that around 5-6 times a day, when I access my Domain alex-klim.com I get the error message: "Safari can't find the server ... Can't open page "http://alex-klim.com/" because .. can't find the server.."

Is there a known issue or bug with the DNS from wordpress? When I access my blog via alexanderklim.wordpress.com its working fine all the time!

Please your help, this is a serious issue!
