WordPress.com is the top level domain here and all free hosted WordPress.com blogs are on sub-domains. However, you may wish to consider purchasing your own domain name and a domain mapping upgrade for your blog. If you do that then your visiotors will only see the domain URLs and on the admin side of your blog you will see the .wordpress.com dub-domain URLs. Moreover, your domain name will be yours for as long as you keep renewing it and it's tranferable so if you ever move your .wordpress.com blog content to a WordPress.org install you can use it there.

Now i want to use the domain but when i try to pick an adress it says that it already exists. There no web site in that adress and wordpress only says that the site is deleted. How do i get to use the adress now?
