As far as I'm aware, theme authors don't ask for their themes to be included on wordpress.com and are therefore under no obligation to tailor their themes to suit our needs. There's a distinction between taking a personal dislike to a feature and insisting that it ought to be changed.

Bugs should be fixed by the wordpress.com admins. Design decisions should be respected. I really can't see any need to bother the authors at all.

Precisly wank.

Note to all the "newbies" Themes are just that, themes. They are not for the most part produced by the development team behind either WP.com (free host) or WP.org (your paid host).

They are designed to work with both versions but they are also the personnel view of what that designer likes in his/her theme.

There can be some modifications to them done to the WP.com themes, but it would take a submission via the feedback button in your dashboard and enough interest shown for each to make it happen.

Nope, it's a 'feature' of the theme you're using. I just switched from Regulus because it was annoying me, too :)

For some reason, the categories I have created and populated with actual content, do not display on the footer of my posts as expected. Am I missing a setting somewhere that displays the category titles?
