Singularity,

No, the blog (site) is hosted through Bluehost (private) using WordPress

I guess I'm trying to understand how my user name here at WordPress.com came to be associated with the private site that is not associated with WordPress.com.

I'm sure it's probably something that I did when I helped the website install their blog software. But now I'm trying to understand what I can do to correct it.

Thanks!

I'm a novice WordPress user, so I hope I can ask this question in an intelligent manner....

My user name that I am logged in right now through WordPress.com is attached to an email address ([email redacted]). The problem is that I want to unattach it.

However when I click on 'My Account' and 'Edit Profile', it tells me that I already have a blog at a separate domain (XXXXXXX.org) that I helped set up about a year ago using a Wordpess template. This must have happened inadvertently, but I in no way attempted to sync my WordPress.com account to a private domain running WordPress.

The problem is that my email address ([email redacted]) is NOT attached to either of the users of the XXXXXX.org domain. So I have no idea where or how I'm suppose to 'edit my profile'...because it directs me to a separate domain that I can't login using that email address.

Understand what I'm asking? I'm trying to 'unhook' my [email redacted] email address from this 3rd party domain registration....and I haven't a clue as to how to do that.

I'm not sure what the problem is, or how I can remedy it. Please advise.

Thanks!
