I winged it, fiddling with the width (in a couple of places within the coding,which I didn't see at first) until the pic caption turned out okay (middle pic of the 3 lower pics). I have no idea what's going on here. But all's (reasonably) well that ends well.

You need to go to Settings > Media, set the width for the Large option to 438 and the height to 0, save changes; then select the Large instead of the Full Size option when inserting full-width images.

Letters on the very far end of some words are missing. Is there a 'center' function I'm missing or am I just using the caption field in a way it was not meant to be used and expecting too much here?
