I replied to a comment he made and he did not receive an email notification. So I guess that answers that.

If somebody posts a comment and I reply, will the comment poster receive an email? Or am I the only person to receive email notifications for comments?

If possible, I would like followers - or at least the author of a comment - to receive notification emails if replies to their comment are made. Otherwise the discussion thread is lost. Is this possible?
