Thanks for your help for all of my questions.

I believe I already had exported the content out of my free hosted WordPress blog into an XML file, yet for some reason, it only took five of the blogs with it.

I'll try it again and I'll also export the links again too.

Are you saying I'll have to find a new theme now, as well?

I went to the link you sent for WordPress.org and I found no place in the top right hand corner to regsiter a WordPress.org username account.

Out of curiosity, did you mean for me to go to WordPress.com?

Just wondering.

Thanks for your help!

See here please > http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/ You can export your content out of your free hosted WordPress.com blog into an XML file http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/ and import that file http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/ into your site. The links are exported and imported in a separate file. http://en.support.wordpress.com/blogroll/import-export-links/

Can I not use the same template that I've been using and move it over to their site which my photography portfolio is hosted on?

WordPress.com themes are not exportable. The content in any text widgets is not exportable either and has to be copied and pasted to move it.

Also, when I try to sign on to the blog (the other one), it ask for my name and password, and when I try to enter my current name and password, the word press site doesn't recognize me, at all.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate. You need to go to the top right hand corner of this page http://wordpress.org and resgiters a WordPress.org username account as all support for your http://www.jaydavisphotography.com site must come from there. We provide support here only for free hosted WordPress.com blogs on these WordPress.com forums.

I own an aviation web site at http://www.jaydavisphotography.com and it is hosted by a company who also can host my blog.

They gave me instructions on how to copy everything over from this wordpress blog, and then actually host it on their site. They said that way I would be generating more traffic to my photography site.

I tried to do it, yet when I moved it over, it gave me a different theme, plus it only shows like I have five or so blogs on that site.

What am I doing wrong? Can I not use the same template that I've been using and move it over to their site which my photography portfolio is hosted on?

Also, when I try to sign on to the blog (the other one), it ask for my name and password, and when I try to enter my current name and password, the word press site doesn't recognize me, at all.

I'm just very confused.

Thanks for any help !!
