In the meantime, you could do it the old-fashioned way (before the feature was introduced earlier this year) and simply go to edit post #1, copy its contents, go to edit post #2, and paste.

I scroll down to the bottom of the screen and it's just the normal new post screen. I am using google chrome for a browser. I was able to copy over the weekend. Any ideas?
