By the way, to avoid problems with the dimensions, get better quality on the post, and avoid issues with bad browsers or browser versions, it's best to use an image editing application (or an online tool) to downsize copies of your images to the desired pixel dimensions, and upload/insert those copies in Full Size.

You're welcome. Yes, it's easier and safer in the HTML editor.

In case something is still not clear, this is what you should have in the HTML editor in place of the first table:

<img style="margin-right:16px;" class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-76" title="MAN" src="http://fbclotro.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/man1.jpg?w=100&h=150" alt="" width="100" height="150" /><img style="margin-right:16px;" class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-77" title="MAN2" src="http://fbclotro.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/man21.jpg?w=97&h=150" alt="" width="97" height="150" /><img style="margin-right:16px;" class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-78" title="ELF1" src="http://fbclotro.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/elf11.jpg?w=98&h=150" alt="" width="98" height="150" /><img class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-123" title="ELF2" src="http://fbclotro.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/elf22.jpg?w=90&h=150" alt="" width="90" height="150" />

Aha! I think I have it. It's much easier to arrange them directly in the HTML tab. I've yet to try changing the spacing, but thank you! :)

1) The essence of my reply is that using a table is a totally unnecessary complication: instead of adding extra coding to correct the mis-aligned image it's easier to get rid of the table altogether.

2) The thumbnails will link to the slideshow only if you insert them as a gallery. If you insert them as individual images like you've done, then table or no table you get no slideshow.

3) You're confusing my align none with Link URL none: the one has nothing to do with the other.

Haha, and that's what I'm asking. You haven't answered my question, sorry. I don't know HOW to correct the height of the image. Changing its height and width in the HTML tab doesn't seem to do anything. Forgive me, but I'm entirely new to coding, so I'm likely missing something incredibly obvious.

The reason I want them in a table isn't their positioning primarily. It's because I don't want them to turn into a slideshow when clicked. In the gallery choosing None for the URL seems to have no effect.

You don't need a table to arrange images in a row: just insert the images the one after the other (with no line or paragraph break between each image and the next), setting their alignment to none instead of center.
To create some space to the right of each image, change this:

<img class=ETC ETC

to this:

<img style="margin-right:16px;" class=ETC ETC

(16px is just an example: change the number to adjust the space.)

PS You need to correct the height of the fourth image: it's 2px larger than the rest.

Two questions, the second of which is quite hard to describe.

1. Is there any way to add a copyright notice, given that I can't add a footer via coding, or any way that's recommended?

2. I created a table to display thumbnail images. The first three display fine, all symmetrical and equally-sized, but for some reason the fourth one sits half as high as the others, stretching the table out. I can't see any obvious reason in the coding why it's doing this, so I'm really not sure what to fix. Can anyone suggest something? The link follows if you want to see what I mean: http://fbclotro.wordpress.com/about-lotro/
