Go to settings > writing and select "WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically" and then click "save changes." That should keep it from happening in the future.

I stripped the use of italics in my most recent three posts. Why that would affect how fonts were appearing everywhere - including fonts in the widgets - is not answered, but I will update this to "Resolved."

Except for one post, now font is italic...the fonts in my posts, the fonts in my headers - even fonts in my widgets. Any advice would be appreciated (and I know zero about CSS at this point - so hopefully it's got nothing to do with that).
