Wow! Thanx for fast reply. LOL, I looked at the page with 'description' and couldn't figure out how to change the color, but knew from your previous comment, there had to be a way...!
It doesn't offer font choice, so I assume it defaults to only the original one, right?

-What do you think of it?
-Is the image a turn-off (--too 'frilly') --would it cause you to leave, without reading a post?

Some of the themes have this option. If you're does, you'll see something like "Custom Theme Option" when you pull up Dashboard -> Presentation. The themes with the Custom Header Images also have the option to change text color as well.

How do I change the font color and face?
I want to change font (on the top) of Blog name: to white color, serif font
Change description copy: to white, serif font

My guess is to do changes I want --in Word (?) then cut/paste into existing space, but before I try that I want to know if I risk shutting anything down/cause a prob, etc. Any info, advice, help? Thanx.

Kewl! Thanx drmike. When I read Brigirl's comment, 'what image' I thought maybe it disappeared or I had 'special' powers so only I could view it (lol). (Can you tell: I know Squat about tech stuff....) I thought it was a tad hard to read also, but changing color is easier than re-cropping...so here comes --white font???

The 'chat' forum: won't leeme in; I'll wait awhile, to see if it stops hiccuping.

The forum at http://forums.tdjc.be is seperate from WP.com and you have to create a new account. It's something I setup here for cases like that that really fall outside of these support forums.

I'm still trying to figure out what the issue is though. I see the three flower header image fine. I would change the text though to a different color though since it doesn't show up that well.

Right HERE! TT...trying really REALLY hard to translate --the stuff, above...sheesh, I speak some French, little Yiddish, bit of Greek --computerese: no way.... Who the Heck invented this stuff --and why do they hate humans. I did get one thing though, the click off the blue blob top/get any image I want --IS new, OK, kewl, I Thought so. I hadn't seen that button before. I clicked ALL the buttons when I first started here, before I lost any posts or searched Forums; was pretty sure it wasn't there; then when I returned this week, viola, it was.

POLL: I want a man's opinion > Is the image (my blog top) a turn-off or 'frilly'/fussy? I've had the image for so many years, I've lost objectivity. Would it cause you to leave

Actually I would think that the header images would be changeable for all of them with the CSS upgrade since I would think that the images are nothing but backgrounds for the header divs. Just do an override for the theme.

For the record, that's what I am doing with mine Instead of loading the header with the "Upload an image" function, I'm just declaring a new background image for the header div (Actually I think it was the headerimg div) within my CSS.

There aren't that many WordPress entertainment blogs out there. It's mostly Blogger and self hosted. So if him and I suddenly have the same templates, that would be HORRIBLE blog etiquette!

poppy had the sapphire theme and then there was a delayed response to the ability to change the header because sapphire and rubic were the last two that change was made to

So what if someone else already has "it". These themes are open source and pretty soon you'll be able to customize it in a way that makes it look uniquely your own. With the regulus header you have now you could put your avatar into paint and make a header really easily if you wanted to.

AHEM *cough* I heard that. And I'll have you know that I have been giving out instructions on how to rid one's header of the "blue blob" for ages now. As you can see I change my headers frequently. :D

But I notice there is a delay when it comes to the default theme - patriotsfan is still waiting for his header to become changeable.

@poppy - I love my firefox browser and all the things it can do. I consider my IE browser to be a *coughing* useless decoration.

I'm wild for it. I HATED the original blue top, but now I have an Image I'm crazy for --in place of the blue blob. --I'm pretty sure (lol) that feature was not installed for me Personally! WHY do you say You can't do it to your blog?
