I reverted back to the look where it's not messed up. Since the site is live, I didn't want it looking awful to the public. If there is a way to show the bad looking site off-line, I would do that.

(Also, my second reference to the blog is wrong. It is for the first site I mentioned: eaglesonblondeau.com)

To answer your question, I hid the header words under Appearance>Custom Header. And when I do that, that's when the menu bar goes to two lines deep. It happens even with their built in photo header, too.

Any thoughts you have would be most appreciated.

If not, when you say with No Header and Text, do you mean you deleted your site's title and tagline under Settings>General Settings or that you hid it under Appearance>Custom Header?

The site was working fine when I used the Header and text combined with my own photo. But when I used my own photo with NO header and text, it messed up the menus.

When it was working properly, the menus went all the way across the page in one row. After I removed the header text, then the menus went to two lines.

I made sure that the new photo was 1000 pixels wide by 288 pixels tall.

Can someone tell me why this happened and how to fix it?
