That link you provided is not a wordpress.com blog.
There are 2 separate and different kinds of wordpress:

WordPress.ORG -- self-hosted blogs using software from wp
Wordpress.COM -- free blogs on a multiuser platform
Read about the differences:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

This forum is for WordPress.COM, and the forum you need is for WordPress.ORG:
http://wordpress.org/support/

Hello timethief,

It's by far not finished..but see this URL:

http://www.vliegmaatschappijen.net/

I want the featured image to link to a specific URL so not to the blogpost as it is now.
The permanent link to the blogpost (text) can remain.

How to do so..

Featured images play a specific, theme-dependent, function: for instance, in Structure they show up at the beginning of frontpage posts as well as in the homepage top area and link to the individual post, in 2010 they show up as alternative header images, in Modularity Lite they show up on category pages, etc. You can't make them link to where you might want. To do that, you need regularly inserted images.

@jsmatt,

You can definitely accomplish this. In the link @lilmaouz posted, you'll see some instructions on adding a link (and other properties) to an image. If you do this, then make the image the featured image, this should get you where you need to be.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-settings/

Try that and let me know how it goes.

@jsmatt
The site linked to your wordpress.cOM username is not a wordpress.com blog. If your question does pertain to a wofree blog being free hosted by wordpress.COm then please post the URL starting with the http:// prefix.

If it's a wordpress.ORG install you are asking about then then you are posting to the wrong forum and ought to be posting here > http://wordpress.ORG/support/

Pleas read this so you are clear about the differences > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
